Hyundai Ioniq 3: Small EV Aims for £25,000 UK Market
Hyundai's smallest electric car yet is set to arrive in the UK in September, with prices expected to start from around £25,000.
According to multiple reports, the Hyundai Ioniq 3 is a compact electric hatchback that slots below the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6 and Ioniq 9 in Hyundai's electric line-up. Priced from approximately £25,000, it is aimed squarely at drivers considering small, affordable EVs such as the Renault 5, and is due to go on sale in the UK in September.
Despite its modest footprint of around 4,155mm in length, which puts it closer in physical size to a Volkswagen Polo than a Golf, the Ioniq 3 reportedly offers more interior room than those external dimensions suggest. Hyundai has pushed the front and rear axles further apart than on a Golf, giving passengers noticeably more space inside than the bodywork would lead you to expect.
