What does Garage.co.uk do for my business?

We send you booking enquiries from car owners actively searching for a garage in your area. You receive each enquiry with the customer's vehicle, the work they need, and contact details. You decide which to quote and which to accept.

Is there a fee to list?

There is no upfront listing fee and no monthly subscription on the free tier. Free-tier listings receive enquiries, can submit quotes, and can manage their own profile. We earn a transparent commission only when a booking is completed through the platform.

What does the verification process check?

Companies House lookup against your trading name, telephone verification of the published number, address check against the postcode, and where applicable a cross-reference against the DVSA list of authorised MOT centres. Verified listings carry a Verified badge with the date of the most recent check. Unverified listings can still appear in search but are clearly marked.

What do the premium tiers add?

Premium tiers add enhanced listing features (photos, longer service descriptions, response-time stats), lead analytics, and priority placement in search results within your area. Pricing is shown transparently on the upgrade page after you claim your listing. We never bundle premium tiers with the suppression of negative reviews.

Can I respond to reviews?

Yes. Every garage account can respond publicly to any review left on its listing. Responses are unmoderated by default unless they breach our community standards (no personal information about the reviewer, no defamatory content). Garages that respond consistently have higher conversion rates from listing view to enquiry.

What happens if I get an unfair review?

Every review has a "Report this review" link in your garage dashboard. We investigate every flagged review. We will remove a review that breaches our community standards or that we cannot verify came from a real customer. We will not remove a review simply because the garage disagrees with it; that is the trust foundation the platform relies on.

How do I claim my listing or join the directory?

If you can see your garage in our directory already, use the "Claim this listing" link on the listing page. If your garage is not listed yet, use the join link in the navigation. Onboarding takes around 5 minutes; verification then runs in the background.
