Bugatti turns track-only Bolide into a 1,578 hp road car

Bugatti has converted its track-only Bolide racing car into a road-legal machine, producing a one-off hypercar called the Destrier with an output of 1,578 hp.

The Destrier is the third car to emerge from Bugatti's Programme Solitaire, a line of individually commissioned, bespoke creations built for single customers. Unlike the Bolide, which was designed purely for circuit use with an aggressive, race-focused appearance, the Destrier has been given a wholly different look.
