Biography
Will Fletcher MBE is Chief Executive Officer of New Reg Limited, the parent company of Car.co.uk, Trader.co.uk, Garage.co.uk and the wider New Reg group of motoring brands. He joined New Reg in December 2022, with his remit expanding across the full group in August 2025.
Prior to New Reg, Will spent more than seven years at Recycling Lives Ltd in Preston — one of the UK's largest metals-recycling and offender-rehabilitation businesses — working alongside founder Steven Jackson OBE from 2014, serving as Managing Director and then as Chief Executive Officer. During this period he also sat on the board of the British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA). While at Recycling Lives the company received three Queen's Awards for Enterprise (2014, 2016 and 2019) — the awards from the years Will was part of the business — making him a four-time recipient of a King's or Queen's Award when combined with the King's Award for Enterprise received in 2026 under his leadership at New Reg.
He was appointed Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2023 New Year Honours. His work at Recycling Lives combined commercial recycling operations with structured offender-rehabilitation programmes — an integrated social-enterprise model that helped formerly incarcerated individuals re-enter employment through real, paid work within the business.
Under Will's leadership, New Reg Limited was named in the Sunday Times 100 Fastest-Growing UK Companies in 2024. In 2026, Car.co.uk — part of the New Reg group — received the King's Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category, Will's fourth King's or Queen's Award.
His focus within the group is the older, higher-mileage end of the UK automotive market: the cars, vans and commercial vehicles that sit between mainstream retail and the scrapyard. Garage.co.uk sits within that commercial context — connecting ordinary drivers with trusted, verified garages at the right price, making a process that can feel opaque as simple as possible.
